昨天勇士对阵热火的比赛中，阿不都沙拉木由于刚刚打完世界杯热身赛到达美国，还要进行体检，再加上旅途劳累未能出战。今天在勇士与湖人的比赛中，他终于获得完成首秀。
在第二节还剩4分47秒时，阿不都沙拉木替补登场。之后，他在底线接到队友传球，一个假动作晃过两人，可惜球未能放进。随后他在三人头上摘下进攻篮板，并造成对手犯规获得两个罚球。
随后他两罚一中，得到夏季联赛的第一分。
在攻防两端，阿不都沙拉木都表现的十分积极。
在本节还剩1分39秒时，阿不都沙拉木与队友简单挡拆之后，接队友传球快速从中路突破。面对多人防守，他强势起步在与防守人身体接触之后将球放进，可惜裁判哨声响起，吹了进攻犯规。阿不都沙拉木也是失望的双手抱头。
下半场，阿不都沙拉木没能再次登场，首秀1分2板并不算耀眼，但对于他来说是一个很好的开始，期望在后面的比赛中阿不都沙拉木能获得更多的出场时间，更好的展现自己。
其他球员方面，湖人今年的25号秀莫-瓦格纳砍下13分、13篮板和4记盖帽。
代表勇士出战的落选秀马库斯-德里克森出战25分钟，砍下24分、11篮板和4记抢断，他三分球7中4，帮助勇士豪取三连胜，成为本场无可争议的最佳球员。
